Getting an oversized original into digital form — a full-size plan set, a historical drawing, an original painting — takes equipment most print shops simply don't have. We run large-format scanning in-house, in full color, so an oversized original comes off the glass as an accurate, high-resolution digital file instead of a stitched-together compromise.

What we scan

Full-color documents and drawings up to 36" wide, at just about any length — a single oversized sheet, a long site plan, or a whole rolled-up set. If it's too big for a standard flatbed or document scanner, it's exactly what this service is for.

Two scanners, two jobs

We run two different large-format scanners, because a stack of drawings and an original painting don't belong on the same machine.

Contex IQ Quattro X — our production scanner, built for volume. This is the machine for plan sets, technical drawings, and everyday documents that need to move through quickly without sacrificing accuracy, whether it's a handful of sheets or a full archive.

Contex IQ Flex — built for anything too delicate, valuable, or oversized to risk running through a feed. Original artwork, fragile historical documents, and irregular or textured pieces get scanned without ever being pulled through rollers, so nothing in the original is put at risk to capture it.
